The DUC DE KENT, grandson of the king George V, visits the cemeteries of the Commonwealth. He is accomodated by Miss Gondrée, founder of the museum and the A.S.P.E.G. Miss Gondrée gave in English with her Royal Highness the history of the Museum built on her initiative. The duke of Kent gives a signed photograph to her.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prince Charles and Thérèse Gondrée were very dependent.

 

 

 

La messe a été célébrée par le Révérend MC Murray Taylor qui avait le grade de capitaine et qui appartenait au 1st R.U.R en Juin 1944.Avant d'attrerrir à Ranville,son planeur Horsa a été touché en arrivant près de la côte.Il n'a jamais été blessé. Après la guerre, il devint archevêque .Il était particulièrement respecté par l'Eglise , par tous les vétérans dont Thérèse et Georges Gondrée qu'il a connu sous la mitraille.
